Being able to see the Daily Trend on your chart is a very advanced trading strategy. Trading with the H4 Trend is important, but you get better trades if you’re also trading with the Daily Trend.
The yellow line is the H4 Trend and the orange line is the Daily Trend. The purple line is the base zero line… when the yellow H4 line is above the purple line, the trend is up in H4… when the orange Daily line is above the purple line, the trend is up in Daily and very strong (& vice versa).
HERE’S A SCREENSHOT OF THE BOTTOM MULTI TIME FRAME WINDOW:
In this screenshot at the end, both the yellow H4 line and Daily orange line are above the purple base zero line… so we will ONLY place buy trades, because we want to trade ONLY in the direction of both H4 and Daily major trends.
The purple line is the base zero line which is the trigger for a buy or sell if the yellow H4 line crosses above or below it. The orange line is the Daily Trend, so if it’s above the purple line, the Daily Trend is up… if it’s below the purple line, the Daily Trend is down.
When both the yellow and orange lines are above the purple line, it means the uptrend is very strong, since both the H4 and Daily trends are up. When both the yellow and orange lines are below the purple line, it means the downtrend is very strong, since both the H4 and Daily trends are down.
My training videos in the PDF explain everything in detail. At first, it might not make sense to you, but as you continue to practice trading in your free demo account with my charts, your understanding will increase.
Honestly, I could trade just using the two volatility windows, without ever looking at the price candles or other indicators in the main window. These two windows give me H4 and Daily trend, entry, slowdown of momentum and price reversal in H4 and Daily, overbought, oversold, and exit:
The two red vertical lines above show the perfect sell entries and the green line shows how the yellow H4 and orange Daily line are both above the purple line and this means that the H4 and Daily trend is up and we take only buy trades. Vice versa for sell trades.
The colored RSI line in the RSI window must ALSO be green and crossing up above the 50% level for buy trades, and tomato red and crossing down below the 50% level for sell trades.
Exit in a buy trade is when the RSI colored line changes color (from green to tomato red) and comes down from 75% overbought territory, and exit for a sell trade is when the RSI colored tomato red line changes to green and comes up from overbought territory and crosses above the 25% RSI level. At the same time we look for the Trend Slope line to change color PLUS the yellow H4 line in the bottom window will cross the orange Daily line = three confirmations of exit signals to look for.
Here’s a total chart showing the main window with the candles and trend slope and white X’s and both bottom volatility windows:
In the middle of the chart where the red x’s are, it looks like it should be a buy entry (I removed the green vertical buy line), but if you look in the bottom MFT window, even though the yellow H4 line is bullish above the purple base line, the orange Daily line is flat below the purple line…so that tells me that we are seeing only a short retracement of price and not a serious uptrend… so I don’t buy at that point….I wait out the retracement until price starts to go down again. The last red vertical line shows all windows and all sell conditions meeting the rules for a sell trade.
